International Experience Canada is innovative process for young students to travel and work in Canada. It provides temporary employment opportunity to young people from 34 countries, so they can legally travel to Canada and get a job. The age limit for this program is 18-35 years. The permits are valid for 12-24 months. Candidates must create a profile and submit it to Canadian authorities. Eligible candidates will be put into one or more IEC candidate pool and will receive a confirmation of placement. There are three programs under the IEC. They are the following-
1. Working holiday- Candidates looking to get work permits to fund a vacation with temporary work in Canada.
2. International Co-op (Internship): Candidates receive employer specific work permits for students to gain experience in their field of study.
3. Young professionals: participants receive an employer-specific work permit to gain professional work experience within their field of study.
